Logical Mathematics
Mathematics is described as ‘the Queen of the Sciences and the King of the Arts’. The Math club functions as a fun-based activity for the middle classes basically to eradicate their phobia for the subject in their formative years. It helps the middle school children to enjoy, appreciate and acquire a basic knowledge of the subject by
organizing competitive group activities, puzzles. Through the club, to develop a positive attitude towards learning Mathematics, a myriad of activities was conducted in the club:
· Puzzle time.
· Fun with arithmetic operations
· Number and operations puzzle
· Vedic Math tricks for multiplication
· Shape rotational patterns
· Number series
· Odd one out series
· Number patterns
· Shape counting in multi grouped figures

Science Club
Learning by doing and learning by living are two essentials of learning Science. To satisfy the natural urge of the students, enhance self-expression, constructivism and independent enquiry, develop scientific attitude and genuine interest in Science, Science Club is the best place. · Acid Alkali Detectives
· Peep through the Periscope
· Temperature Testing
· Fun with Windmill
· Trash to Treasure (DIY Projects)
· Layering the soil
· Wonders of Newton Disc
At the end of the term, the students wrote about their learning journey through Science Club.

Robotics Club
STEAM Learning integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics, with key skills such as problem solving, strategic thinking and collaboration. Digital & Design Technologies aims to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to ensure that, individually and collaboratively, students develop confidence as critical users of technologies and designers and producers of designed solutions, and they design, create, manage and evaluate sustainable and innovative digital solutions. Keeping that in mind, our young scientists, engineers, mathematicians have collaborated with peers and learnt how to Design, Make and Learn. Some highlights of what the kids have learnt in the Robotics club are given below :
1) Introduction to Robotics
2) Learning the controls
3) Measure the angles
4) Learning to program the Bot to make a shape on flex
5) Direction test – Learning to program the Bot to move from start to end point
6) Bee-Bot – Making the Bot travel across the letter in the word
7) Basics of programming
8) Block programming – Developing a program to respond to timed events
9) Making connections between Computer Science and real world through Block coding.
10) Game character controlling methods.

Bodily Kinaesthetic
Kinesthetic Intelligence is the ability to use one’s body with great precision, helping to facilitate the implementation of goals and personal objectives. Those with kinesthetic intelligence are able to use the body to move from intention to action. This type of intelligence involves coordination, balance, skill, speed, strength, and dexterity. In short, it relies on tactile mechanisms and human movement to get information.
It is crucial for our own well being, to remember the importance of unity, balance and harmony of both concepts, Logical and Kinesthetic Intelligence, by keeping in mind that the body and mind go hand in hand in our development. The “reflective” or cerebral part is equally as necessary as the “active” or physical part of us.
As part of the club, students enjoyed their Bodily-Kinesthetic club participating and learning the following sports.

VERBAL-LINGUISTIC
As part of Verbal – Linguistic club, Drama promotes communication skills, teamwork, dialogue, negotiation,
socialization. It stimulates the imagination and creativity; it develops a better understanding of human behaviour and empathy with situations that might seem distant.
In the 1 st term 2019-20, students in their Drama club, learnt

In the 1 st term 2019-20, students in their Drama club, learnt
- The basics of acting – called Nav Rasa (all the moods of acting)
- Acting in a group
- How to remember and play the character ; variation – acting like humans, animals and inanimate object like trees. They tried all this by enacting a small play “Hame bhi jine do”
- How to deliver dialogues with voice modulation
- Body movements
- Story narration
VISUAL-SPATIAL
People with Visual/Spatial intelligence are very aware of their surroundings and are good at remembering images. They have a keen sense of direction and often enjoy maps. They have a sharp sense of space, distance and measurement. The characteristics of a child with Visual /Spatial intelligence enjoys drawing, painting, pottery, sculpting, interprets pictures, recognizes patterns easily.
In the 1 st Term 2019-20, as part of the Visual / Spatial intelligence club learnt :
Freehand clay modelling
